What are you going to do?
You are ultimately responsible for the whole Food & Beverage department, consisting of VANE Restaurant, VANE Skybar and Rooftop terrace, Banqueting and Breakfast and you are part of the Hotel F&B Team. As an intern Food & Beverage Manager you will operationally support the different outlets depending on occupancy levels per outlet and you will support the F&B Service manager in reporting, administration, and different projects.
You identify and communicate bottlenecks and help solve them. You also monitor the implementation of internal procedures and legislation, for example in the field of budget & planning and HACCP. In this position we expect you to be 70% operational on the work floor and 30% busy with administration (ordering, schedules, invoicing, etc.). Your planning is depending on occupancy levels and the no. of booked covers and will be in the morning, afternoon, or evening, during week- and weekend days. Finally, you maintain a close relationship with the guests and, if necessary, you are the point of contact for compliments and complaints.
